Water Transfer Printing Technique

          Water transfer printing is the application of an ink pattern onto a complex three dimensional object. This process works on most solid materials that can be momentarily immersed in water. This process is used to make one type of substrate look like another (i.e. plastic to look like wood), to apply complex patterns such as camouflage, and to help a product stand out from its competitors by adding visual value that increases competitive advantage.
